Laundry

And this is why I do laundry when the kids are in bed. I have too many little helpers, if you know what I mean. I do appreciate their efforts though!

I guess they think throwing the laundry over the rail to the entryway helps get it to the laundry room quicker.

Happy Valentine's Day

We had a little relaxing Valentine's dinner at home. Chris made yummy sirloin burgers and then we played rockband until way too late!

Ava just helping herself to some of the Valentine treats and sugar right before bed!

I found these chairbackers for the kids and the "Valentine Owl," as Ava called it, brought little goodies and love notes for a couple of days before Valentine's Day. They were excited in the morning to look for a little treat inside.

My family all went to Outback for a dinner Valentine's Day celebration Monday evening to avoid the crowds on the weekend!

Draper Temple Open House

Saturday afternoon my family all went to the Draper Temple open house. We watched a short video at a church and then got on a bus that took us up to walk through the temple. It was neat at the end of the tour we went into one of the sealing rooms where they talked to us for a minute but before that Chris and I stood together and held Ava up to look in the forever mirrors and it was a good reminder to me of our purpose here on the earth, and that is raising our family and that families are forever, which I am so very grateful for. We don't ever get to have our children with us in the temple when they are small so it was special to me that Ava was with us for that moment.

Ava loved that we got to ride on a bus, she kept saying we were getting on a school bus, which she always wants to ride when she sees one. The whole car ride up to Salt Lake she kept saying "we going to see the new temple, I so excited." It was cute!

Circus

Ava and I went to the Circus at UVU with Lindey and Corbin, Lacey and the kids. The kids all had a great time, but what kid doesn't love the circus, no matter how low budget it is!

Ava's favorite parts were the ponies, the dancing poodles, and the music she clapped and danced to the whole time. When we got home she said to me, "the tigers are huge kitty cats and they could eat me!"

Not so happy kids

It's been one of those days...or weeks I should say!

Here's to all the crying...whining, crying...screaming, crying...biting, pushing, hitting, tantrums, fits, runny noses and not sharing anything with each other, that has been our kids this week. Maybe the winter cooped up indoors weather is getting to all of us! Hopefully a better week to come!
