We decorated gingerbread houses in the evening. The boys wanted to eat all the candy and some of it ended up on their house but then our houses didn't survive the short-very short car ride home and all collapsed into a pile when we got home. Oh well, maybe we'll try to decorate another one if we get time.

Happy Turkey Day
We have so much to be thankful for this year we couldn't possibly list everything. Especially spending the holiday with those we love so much! We ate way to much food, had lots of crafts to keep the little ones busy and just had a relaxing day together!

Every Thanksgiving Rick and Lacey take a pie and some bubbly to the firefighters for a treat to say thanks for their service to our community so we all went along to deliver the goods. The boys thought it was especially neat when the firefighters showed us around the "fire crucks" just like in their books they have at home.

Disney On Ice
Ava and I went on a little mommy-daughter date to Disney On Ice. It was the stories of all the princesses so I figured she would love it, and she did. Her favorites were Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. We had fun spending the evening just the two of us!

She thought the music at times was too loud and she also wanted me to cover her eyes if there was a scary villan, it was funny.

The Zoo
Last week aunt Katherine called with a last minute trip to the zoo so we decided to go along! It was a perfect Fall day to be outside. There were so many cute new baby animals. The kids favorite for sure was the baby elephant, we hadn't seen yet!
