Summer Fun
We have been swimming and to the splash parks a few times this week. There is definately a slight change in the air the last few days. It seems that Fall will be here before we know it! We love Summer, every year it goes by way too fast!

Crew is a crazy man at the pool now. He crawls anywhere not even realizing he's going under and it doesn't bother him in the least, he will find somewhere else the second you put him back down.

Aunt Shay-Shay (as Ava calls Shaley) and Griffin
Griffin has started getting so mad if anyone takes anything away from him. He had a death grip on the chips and Ava wanted one!
Seven Peaks
We took Ava to Seven Peaks for an evening with just mom and dad. We had a fun time even though it was really crowded. I guess everyone is getting their swimming in before school starts next week! I think Ava enjoys being with just the two of us once in a while!
I just love her chubby legs! They have been that way since she was born!

Little Gym
At the first of the summer cousin Brandt invited Ava to "bring a friend day" at Little Gym and Ava had so much fun that we joined and have kept going with aunt Katherine and cousin Brandt! It's nice for them to get a little exercise, get better at trying new things, and it's something fun that Ava and I get to do together!
Her favorite part of class is playing with the balls and doing bubbles!
Her favorite part of class is playing with the balls and doing bubbles!
They all pull their shirts up and have bubbles on their tummies! I don't know where they came up with wanting that, but they all love it! Brandt has been distrot a couple of times because he has had a one piece outfit on and couldn't easily access his tummy for bubbles!
Getting stamps after class on their hands and feet! Ava thinks that is so great!

Color Me Mine
Last week we went to Color Me Mine to paint pottery. Ava and I each painted a mug! She was interested for a few minutes but then wanted to run around and I was afraid she was going to break something, but we had a good time anyway! I guess she might still be a little too young for a project like this, but she was definately excited to show what she had made to dad!
