Thanksgiving Point Farm

Last week we went to the farm at Thanksgiving Point with Lacey and the kids and Shaley to meet some of Roman's family there who were in town from Arizona for the week. We met his mom, sister Hailey and sister Rachel and Myles. It was so fun to get to know them and spend the afternoon having fun!

Myles was so cute, he kept giving Ava hugs for sharing her treats! What a sweetie!

Ducks, Smores and Golf

Uncle Tadd called from work Sunday evening and had made a little fire pit to make smores so we took the kids down and fed the ducks and roasted marshmellows and then the boys wanted to hit some golf balls around. We had a great time, thanks for calling!





We were feeding the ducks when the sprinklers came on and instead of run out of the way, Griffin was doing his little hop gallop run thing right along with the sprinkler rather than getting out of the way of it. It was so funny, he was soaked!

The boys were in heaven hitting the balls around. Uncle Tadd cut this club down for Crew, it was the cutest thing, he loves it, it's just his size!

Happy 4th of July

We had a great holiday. We did the usual traditions, went to the parade, swam, all the girls went to the Freedom Festival boutique, had a b-bque at both families, did fireworks and party, then went to watch the stadium big fireworks. It's always a long day, filled with tons of fun! We love the 4th of July!

Crew couldn't get enough of the fireworks, he was out in the street lighting them, trying to figure out what they did and watching them blow up. He wasn't bothered in the least by the noise or anything, he loved it!

Griffin was putting the box of pops in his mouth instead of throwing them on the ground, luckily Lacey caught him right before he started chewing on them and exploded his mouth. So, Chris and Tadd then decided to throw them on his head instead of the ground. He would look confused after each one and then laugh, what a goof!

Ava did not enjoy the loud noise of fireworks, she was hiding in the house but at least we got her outside with her ears covered!

The Parade

4th of July Weekend

We love the 4th of July, it is probably our favorite holiday. We just had a big party all weekend long. We did a lot of swimming and being with family. We took the kids to pick out some fireworks since that is Chris's favorite thing ever about the 4th and since he didn't take his annual trip to Wyoming for fireworks, the stand on the corner would have to do. Needless to say he was very disappointed with the lack of exciting fireworks, but they were very kid friendly so they all had a great time!
