Hogle Zoo

Last Monday we went on an outing up to the Zoo and met Lacey and the kids, Kecia and the girls and Rachel and Myles. We chose the hottest 100degree day of the week to go but despite the heat everyone had a good time looking at all the animals!

Slip-N-Slide Party

A couple of Saturday's ago we woke up and decided to have a little slip-n-slide, sprinklers, swim and pizza party in the backyard with the cousins. The kids enjoyed something other than the regular swimming for a day, but they still would prefer swimming at papa and grandma's pool for sure!

Breakfast in the Canyon

Over the 24th Holiday weekend we went up the canyon for the annual DeMar Breakfast in the Canyon. The kids had a great time throwing rocks and playing in the river and the food was delicious as always. Chris and Blake even caught a fish in the river right close by so of course the kids were all very fascinated by it!

Ava was taking a picture of the fish and she was looking at it through the camera saying, "say cheese fishy." It was so funny, I guess she thought the fish was going to pose for a photo.

Surprise, we will be having a new little addition join our family the end of March, we are very very excited!

Tutu's and Rainboots

I got Ava these rainboots thinking she would wear them in the Fall but no, instead she has not taken them off for over a week. She thinks they go with every outfit, including to church and insists on wearing them to sleep in along with her tutu. So, of course I had to sneak in her room and take her picture while she was sound asleep! I'm sure it's just a clothing phase that will pass soon!

It's Official

Congrats to Shaley and Roman who got engaged today! It's official, October 9th. We are so excited for you guys! Anytime Aunt Shay-Shay is going somewhere with Roman, Ava asks if she gets to wear her big pretty dress yet, so yes now you do get to in a couple of months!
