Growing Up

Last week I took Ava to Westridge with Lacey and Andrew to have her picture taken on school picture day and for some reason she just looks like she's becoming so grown up to me. They really do grow up way too fast!

Softball

Chris has been playing softball on Monday and Tuesday evenings. We have made it to some of his games if they are early. The kids love to play around. I don't have any pictures of the actual games because i'm lucky if I catch a glimpse of a play or two. Most of the time I have no idea if they won or lost after it's over, but the kids have fun running around!

The boys now fight over what the other one has if they are close to each other. Griffin will pull Crew's hair and Crew bites Griffin if he has something he wants. Crew has already bitten him numerous times. It's great, the fighting already begins and they aren't even one yet!

A week or so ago there was a firetruck in the parking lot at the game. The kids thought is was great!

Buddy Walk

Last Saturday was the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome so we went to walk with Bree! She always had the biggest smile and brings such a special spirit to our family. We love you so much, Bree!








The boys wore their "B" on the stroller because both of them kept eating it off their shirt! They were right in line of a sprinkler that went on shortly after we got there and they got soaked along with papa, so they cried for a bit and were wimpy the rest of the time.

Ava looked up to see the bear pushing the stroller and needless to say her face looked terrified when she realized who had her!

Raspberry Jam

Last week Lacey, Shaley and I took an afternoon and made raspberry jam together. We had a fun time talking and laughing. It turned out soooo yummy!

The raspberries were so red and pretty, we just wanted to eat all of them.

Andrew and Ava were such good helpers! Ava just sat and ate Strawberries most of the time! They were good to entertain themselves while we were busy!

Three Little Monkey's

The kids have been challenging for me the past few weeks. We keep thinking the boys are going to get a little easier anytime but that just doesn't happen! Crew usually follows Ava around and then we have to put Griffin where they are since he's not mobile yet. One of their favorite things every day is standing on the stairs holding onto the bars. They will all stand there for quite a while and laugh. The boys don't know to let go when they are done so they just stay there until someone gets them down! I can see that all three of them are going to be getting into trouble together shortly!

Yogurt Mess

This morning I went upstairs for literally two minutes and I hear Ava yelling "Crew No" over and over so I come downstairs to find them both covered in Yogurt that Ava had gotten off the counter. I'm sure it wasn't all Crew's idea to have some of the Yogurt! What a great start to the morning! Some days I feel like I do nothing but clean up mess after mess!

Breakfast in the Canyon

Saturday morning was the annual DeMartini "breakfast in the canyon." The temperature was absolutely perfect and it was so nice to be up in the mountains. The kids had so much fun throwing rocks and sticks in the river, kicking around the soccer ball, and the food was delicious, as always!

The boys look a little dazed, it was during their naptime but they did pretty well!
