Easter Egg Coloring and Hunt

Saturday afternoon we colored Easter eggs and had an egg hunt in the backyard! The boys, of course, thought the eggs were balls to throw rather than color or had to put them all in their mouth and try to eat them!






Griffin really enjoyed himself. He wanted every egg to be green. By the time he was done his whole mouth and both hands were solid green. Luckily it all washed off in the bath later!

and of course this is Crew after his eggs were stolen, he was not so happy about that!

Ducks and Chicks

We were out and about running errands so we went by IFA to look at the duck and chicks they have at Easter time. They were cute but i'm really glad they aren't living in our backyard this year!

Ava actually wanted to hold one of them on her hand. I was suprised, she is usually so skeptical of anything of that sort!

BYU Art Museum

Friday I took the kids up to the Art Museum at BYU to see the Walter Wick exhibit. It's the guy who does the I Spy pictures. I thought the exhibit and the pictures were great, and there were lots of things for the kids to look at. They were completely entertained for at least an hour, and that's always a good thing!

There was a room with the foam peanuts and fans that would blow them all over when you pushed the button. We must have spent a half hour in there, Ava wanted to watch it over and over.

They thought all the Diet Coke bottles were great. Crew started saying drink and Ava went running to it and saying "daddy's Diet Cokes are here"

Culdasac Barbeque

We had a fun but chilly last minute barbeque with the neighbors since the Chamber's were leaving this week clear until the end of the football season in January. The kids will really miss the girls to play with outside all Summer! We have phantom neighbors for a better part of the year but we'll see ya when you get back!

Playing Outside

Last week the weather was so nice we were outside playing or going to the park all day long! I'm so ready for it to be warm weather for good!

The pink car is what happens when I go shopping in Park City for the evening with my mom and sisters and leave Chris with the kids. I was less than thrilled about it and lost the battle in returning it since she had already seen it. Oh well I guess, she loves it but her legs barely reach to drive so she prefers to be the passenger.

Griffin just content to hold onto a ball and eat gravel from the gutter. I have found numerous times a mouthfull of rocks he's chewing on. So grose, my kids put everything in their mouth!

Dinosaur Museum

Monday morning we went to the Dinosaur Museum with Kristen and the girls. Ava and Gracy had a great time together. They were so cute to hug for a picture! It was fun to walk around and chat and then get lunch at the cafe.



The little ones really wanted out of the stroller to play in the sand and water, that would have been a major mess. Maybe next time!

If you can't tell, Griffin really wasn't happy that he couldn't crawl around in the sand.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We made green eggs and waffles to celebrate green day. Some food just doesn't look appetizing in green but Ava had a great time with the food coloring!
