Lyla was born March 10th at 9:00am, weighing 6lbs 14oz and 19" long! We are so grateful that she is as healthy as she was considering her heart defect. She did great and didn't need her surgery right away, and got to come home with us! She has down syndrome which we knew might be a possiblity after finding her heart defect just a couple of months ago. I have felt this incredible bond with her and a great love from the second she was born. She truly is so special to us and I absolutely know that she was sent from our father in heaven to our family for a reason that is part of a bigger picture that we will some day understand! This will be a new adventure for us, taking care of this special little spirit that was sent here to our family! We just love her to pieces, and already couldn't imagine her being any other way! She has already brought such a calm spirit into our home, we are so grateful for her arrival!
Thanks for the cute sign Shaley and the kids made for us when we arrived home. 
Thanks to all our family who came up to Salt Lake numerous times to visit us in the hospital and helped take care of everything at home!
The kids just can't get enough of her, they love holding her and are worried at all times about where she is, especially Griffin he is so cute with her and Ava always wants to help feed her!
Lyla is so lucky to have Bree, a first cousin that also has down syndrome. The genetisist said the chances of that are about 1 in 500,000. Lucky girls to grow up together, Bree is so sweet, they must have had some plan in heaven to come to this life together to be little buddies!

Tysen - She's so adorable. That picture of the boys looking at her through the window is priceless. And Ava snuggling her on the couch is just adorable. You & your family are so blessed. We'll keep all of you in our prayers!!
She is so precious Tysen! Rylee is constantly worried about where the baby is at all times too, first thing she says when she wakes up everyday is "where is baby Quinton?" It's so sweet that the other kids are so in love with her! She is lucky to have a family like yours!
Oh she is so sweet. And you totally made me cry. I am sure she has the sweetest spirit and you are so blessed to have her in your family. I love the part about her and Bree having a plan to come to earth together. How special...and she is gorgeous...We miss you guys we will come by. All of those pictures are priceless.

Tys- I cried through this whole post! The bond you were talking about at the first is so real and true and will only continue to grow stronger and stronger! We are all so lucky to have Lyla too! I feel like I have a special added bond with her too because of Bree and I wish we lived closer to you so I could cuddle her all the time!

Oh Tysen, she's so beautiful! I've been thinking about you so much and hope you're holding up with four little ones. The pictures are so great, I love the one with the boys looking through the window at the hospital. And the one of Bree and Lyla is pricless! Congrats to you both and PLEASE let me know if you need anything. Can't wait to meet her!
